Heat resistance has a specific limit. Current Rumiloo placemats are heat-resistant up to 176°F / 80°C.

Appropriate use

Use the placemat beneath warm plates, bowls, and serving dishes that are within the stated temperature limit.

What to avoid

Do not place cookware directly from a hotter oven or stovetop on the placemat. When you do not know the surface temperature, use a trivet or another product designed for higher heat.

After use

Allow the placemat and dishes to cool before cleaning. Wipe with a damp cloth or soft sponge, rinse gently when needed, and air-dry fully.
